Welcome to the Heroic Nurses Walk to Highlight Human Trafficking in Washington, DC! We are a passionate collective of healthcare professionals, advocates, and community members dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking and supporting survivors.
Our Mission
Our mission is clear: to educate, empower, and mobilize the nursing community and beyond in the fight against human trafficking. By walking together through the heart of our nation’s capital, we aim to shine a light on this pervasive issue and inspire meaningful change.
Why We Walk
Human trafficking is a profound violation of human rights, affecting millions globally. Nurses are often at the forefront, providing crucial care to survivors. This walk is our stand against injustice, a symbol of solidarity with survivors, and a call to action for all to join in the fight.
